Deposit & Cancellation Policies

WINTER RESERVATIONS (Nov - Apr except holiday)

Deposit Policy: An initial non-refundable deposit of 2 night's lodging is due at the time of booking by major credit card. Final payment, including taxes and fees, is automatically charged to the card 30 days prior to arrival. Optional travel insurance premiums are due at the time of booking. Mountain Resorts reserves the right to cancel any reservation if deposit or payment dates are not met.

Cancellation Policy: For lodging cancellations made 31 or more days prior to arrival, the initial non-refundable deposit will be forfeited. Once a reservation is paid in full, it is non-refundable, and all payments received will be forfeited.

HOLIDAY RESERVATIONS

Deposit Policy: An initial deposit of 2 night's lodging is due at the time of booking by major credit card. Final payment, including taxes and fees, is automatically charged to the card 45 days prior to arrival. Optional travel insurance premiums are due at the time of booking. Mountain Resorts reserves the right to cancel any reservation if deposit or payment dates are not met.

Cancellation Policy: For lodging cancellations made 46 days or more prior to arrival, the initial non-refundable deposit will be forfeited. Once a reservation is paid in full, it is non-refundable, and all payments received will be forfeited.

SUMMER RESERVATIONS (May - Oct)

Deposit Policy - Nightly/Weekly Guests: One night's lodging is due at the time of booking by major credit card. In addition, the Security Deposit Waiver fee, if elected, as well as any applicable clean fees will be charged with the initial deposit. Final payment, including taxes and fees, is automatically charged to the card on file 14 days prior to arrival. Optional travel insurance premiums are due at the time of booking. Mountain Resorts reserves the right to cancel any reservation if deposit or payment dates are not met.

Cancellation Policy: The initial deposit is non-refundable. If a cancellation is made 14 days or less prior to arrival, the full payment will be withheld. Changes in length of stay are subject to minimum stay requirements and cancellation penalties.

Taxes and Fees: Rates are subject to 21.9% taxes and fees. Confirmations will be sent for all individual bookings. Please review all confirmations for correct dates and rates.

Red Sky Travel Insurance Ski Trip Preserver

We help keep vacation dreams alive.

You've been planning this vacation for months, maybe even years, and just before you leave, your child spikes a fever. Or maybe your company decided to transfer you to the new West Coast office. Or more likely, you've been keeping an eye on a threatening storm, or a disappointing snowfall in the Rockies, and it's starting to look like your plans will be affected.

Fortunately for you, Ski Trip Preserver vacation rental travel insurance can reimburse you for the nonrefundable deposits and other costs you've incurred.

We understand that vacation travel is invested with hopes and dreams, as well as funds. When the unexpected happens, we want you to recover your investment along with the ability to plan again.

Premium equals 6.9% of lodging plus tax, and is due at the time of booking in addition to initial deposit.

Peace Of Mind Damage Deposit Waiver

Accidents happen, and at Highmark Steamboat Springs we don't believe your vacation experience should suffer because of it. For this reason we offer a Peace Of Mind Security Deposit Waiver, which protects you from theft or damage which results within the property during your stay.

For a cost of $35.00, you may purchase the Peace of Mind Damage Deposit Waiver provided through MDM Group Associates, Inc., which covers accidental or incidental damage to the residence interior up to a maximum amount of $3,000. Any damages or theft not covered by the waiver or that exceeds the coverage amount will be charged to the credit card on file. Terms and conditions apply as stated in the Term of Waiver form. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and direct MDM Group Associates, Inc. to pay directly to Highmark Steamboat any amounts covered under the Peace of Mind Damage Deposit Waiver.

If you do not purchase the Peace of Mind Damage Deposit Waiver, a credit card hold of $500 will be charged to the credit card on file. Any and all damage or theft charges will be charged to this credit card. The deposit hold will be released following confirmation there is no damage to the residence.

Check-In Information

  • Check-In: 4:00 p.m.

Thank you for being courteous to the guests preceding and following you by honoring the check-in/check-out times. Late departures are subject to an additional night's charge unless a later check-out has been authorized by the Front Desk Manager.

Miscellaneous Policies

No Pets Please: Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets at any of our properties.

No Oversized Vehicles: No camper, boat or trailer parking is available on site.

Additional People: Condominium units are priced "per unit." There is no additional per person charge. Units cannot exceed the maximum occupancy.

Roll Away Beds: There are no additional fees for roll away beds, but availability is on a 1st come 1st served basis, and they must be reserved. Roll away beds provide bedding flexibility and may not be used to exceed maximum occupancy.

Special Requests: All special requests are subject to availability. Each condominium is individually owned, therefore, views, decor, furnishings and bedding may vary. We will make every effort to honor your special requests but cannot guarantee them.

Housekeeping: Daily trash and towel service is available. For guests staying 7 nights or longer a "mid-stay clean" is provided. Beds are made with fresh linen, bathrooms are cleaned, condominiums are vacuumed and dusted.

Other Provisions

Highmark Steamboat reserves the right, without liability, to substitute equivalent accommodation at the same or lower rental rates.

Highmark Steamboat makes no warranties nor assumes any responsibilities with respect to the following:

  • Delays or cancellation of any public or private transportation of guest to or from home location to Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
  • Mechanical failure, high winds, destruction, strikes, shortages of power, acts of God or any other condition or all or part of the Steamboat Ski Area.
  • Any policy or action or program of the operation of the Steamboat Ski Area or any other recreational facility in Steamboat Springs.
  • Injury to person or damage or loss of property unless caused by negligence or willful act of omission by agents or employees of Highmark Steamboat.
